Upcoming Book Adaptations That Are Being Anticipated?

1. Life of Pi- It's the adapation to the novel with the same title. I've checked the trailer and it seems promising with the use of 3D. Since it's a film by Ang Lee, I'd be expecting great acting and honest adapting to the book of Yann Martel. One among my favorite books which made me cry. It's a journey of a relationship between man and beast. Together they'll survive the waves.

2. Carrie- Stephen King is an author who will give readers something to look forward too and even in the cinemas. I'm talking about the third remake of this supernatural and horror book which stars Chloe Grace Moretz as the role title. I'm having a guess why a third movie was made because more kids are bullied. Anyway, the trailer just showed the most important scene of the movie but I do hope she'll overthrow Sissy Spacek throne in the 70's. I'm also giving Angela Bettis a credit for the T.V. version of it. But Sissy was a real scare as Carrie.

3. Les Miserables- A beautiful classic book written by Victor Hugo which taken the Broadway by storm. Just hearing the voice of Fantine singing "I Dreamed a Dream and it's Anne Hathaway. I felt the sadness and hope of the characters in the first time I've read it. Watch the trailer and you will feel the despair and frustrations of their destiny. Hugh Jackman as Jean Valjean, Russel Crowe as the policeman, Amanda Seyfried, Sasha Baren Cohen and Helena Bonham Carter are among the big cast. One man with a kind heart misunderstood by others.

4. On The Road- A Jake Kerouac cult classic travelogue and novel with his friends in the late 1940's. You'll see another Kristen Stewart in drugs again aside from her role as Joan Jett. Roadtrip, drugs and jazz music would not only be the theme of the film but also the realization of life. I think this is a must-watch adaptation.

5. The Great Gastby- An ensemble cast of good actors from Leonardo Di Caprio, Carey Mulligan, Tobey Maguire and Isla Fisher in a screen adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel. The 1920's New York and a mysterious man who is only known by the name as the Great Gatsby. It's a beautiful trailer shot in a great city but anticipate lies and deceits but with a mix of love and tragedy.
