If there would be a day that I'd be stuck for a long time I'd choose the day I've met my friends. I don't remember the date but that was somewhere between the first week or second week of October 2004. I'm just saying this because I've watched Groundhog Day last night. It was a fun watch because of all days he got stuck in, it would be the day where Phil, the groundhog predicts if winter would be extended by seeing his shadow. Bill Murray as Phil Connors, the same name as the groundhog plays T.V. weatherman who only sees himself as great and does not appreciate the people around him. This is his fourth year on covering the event. After his producer, Rita played by Andie Macdowell and his cameraman, played by Chris Elliott done covering the event. A storm is coming so they won't be able to go home. They were invited on the Groundhog banquet but instead he did not go, spent his day in his room and slept.
He woke up February 2, His alarm sets at 6 am. It's the same day as yesterday. He would wake up on this same day all over for a long time. He'll be doing things he'd never done before. Killing himself, learning how to play piano, read Anto Chekov's books, help people and learning to love others rather than himself. It's a comedy and fantasy film about a person waking up, and making a change on himself. This movie is a "groundhog day" for me. I'm going to watch it over and over and over.
